The meaning of the “XXX” in the company name

One of the most frequently asked questions when introducing our company is: “What do the XXX in our company name stand for?”

In 2007, we founded our company as a pure trading agency and partnership with three products. During a brainstorming session for the company name, the XXX suddenly appeared on paper, together with our product specialization, the measuring systems. As we still lacked a suitable name, we decided on the name “Triple X Marine Equipment”.

Renaming and further development

To avoid confusion in search queries, the company name was later changed to “TX Marine Hamburg”. Due to the continuous expansion of our portfolio, it was necessary to change the legal form to a GmbH in 2013.

From trading agency to system provider

Thanks to many years of cooperation with reliable manufacturers and the development of innovative in-house products, we have established ourselves as a system provider for complete solutions in the field of measurement technology on board. Our portfolio consists of our own products and merchandise, which are continuously adapted to current and future market requirements.

Specialization in measurement technology around the engine

We aim to offer our customers comprehensive solutions, particularly in the field of engine-related measurement technology. Our company name reflects our passion. Even when special measurement systems are required that go beyond our standard product range, we use our network to deliver suitable solutions.

Our motto “OUR MISSION – YOUR SUPPORT” stands for our philosophy of supporting our customers not only with advice and the selection of the right measurement technology, but also with delivery, service, training and support.

Many years of expertise of the Paschen family

The Paschen family has been active in the global market for technical measuring and analysis equipment for many years, particularly in the field of marine and power plant machinery. This experience flows directly into our work.

During this time, we have come to know numerous technicians, engineers and operators who use extensive measurement technology to identify problems and analyze solutions. However, we have often found that the technology on offer does not meet the requirements.

Our contribution to solving problems

The challenge is to collect and evaluate the right information via measuring devices. However, the technology is often too complicated or difficult to understand. This is where we come in: We support our customers in overcoming these hurdles and successfully solving their problems.

Milestones in the company’s history

2007: Foundation of the company by Kay Paschen as a sole proprietorship under the name “Triple X Marine Equipment”. Later renamed “TX Marine Hamburg”.
July 2009: Relocation of the company headquarters to Kiebitzreihe to take advantage of the proximity to Hamburg and to further expand the cooperation with Littau GmbH.
May 2013: Following an internal restructuring and the arrival of Nadine Paschen, the founder’s daughter, the legal form was changed to GmbH.

Since then, father and daughter have shared the management of the company.
