A solution provider for marine measurement technology teams up with more than 30 years of experience in the Gulf region
TX Marine Messsysteme GmbH and Vigil Marine Services from the United Arab Emirates are now working together. Together we will offer ship owners, shipyards and ship operators in the Middle East complete solutions for measurement, monitoring, inspection and technical service.
Two portfolios that fit together
TX Marine is a solution provider for marine measurement technology. We don't just deliver instruments. We advise customers, design and install systems, run measurements and analyse the results. Our portfolio covers engine diagnostics, cylinder pressure measurement, vibration monitoring and shaft power measurement. We also offer calibration, ROV inspection with data analysis, speed/power trials and ultrasonic thickness measurement.
Vigil has served the region since 1990 from its bases in Sharjah and Fujairah. The company offers marine services, automation and calibration, gas-free and hot-work services, and sales and trading. Vigil started ultrasonic thickness gauging in the region back in 1990. It is now one of the leading UT gauging firms in the UAE and India.
Together we cover the whole process, from the first technical question to a working solution on board.
A reunion after more than 30 years
This partnership has a nice backstory. My father has known Vigil since the 1990s, when he worked with them successfully at his previous company. It's a happy coincidence that our paths cross again now. It also shows how much trust and good relationships matter in the maritime industry, even over decades.
Working the Middle East market together
The Gulf region is one of the world's most important maritime hubs. Our customers there will get:
- Complete measurement solutions, from consulting to installation and data analysis
- Fast local service and support in the UAE
- Quick response times for inspections, calibration and measurements on board
- One point of contact for efficiency, condition monitoring and maintenance
"With Vigil, we have found a partner who has known the Middle East market for more than three decades. Together we can offer our customers complete solutions right where they need them."
