Rotary Piston Volume Flow
Rotary piston flow meters are a robust, proven and cost-effective way to measure fuel consumption on main engines, auxiliary engines and boilers. The CONTOIL® VZF II (electronic display) and VZO (mechanical roller counter) volume flow meters cover DN15–50 and flow rates from 20 to 30,000 l/h. They measure HFO, MDO, MGO and other oil-like liquids independent of viscosity, and need no power supply for the measurement itself or straight inlet and outlet runs. Thanks to high vibration resistance, marine approvals and differential measurement of supply and return lines, crews, technical managers and purchasers get reliable fuel consumption data for engine monitoring, bunker control and fuel-efficiency analysis.
