Inline Water in Oil

Water in lubricating, hydraulic and gear oil causes corrosion, loss of oil film strength and bearing damage, often long before free water becomes visible. Inline water-in-oil sensors monitor the oil 24/7 directly in the system, so the crew can react early instead of waiting for laboratory results. The WIO water-in-oil sensors from PAJ measure water activity (aW) and ppm in lube, gear, turbine, hydraulic, transformer and diesel oil. They are calibrated in real oil and give High/High-High alarms via volt-free relays and 4–20 mA. They were developed to MAN Diesel & Turbo specifications and are DNV-approved. The Humidity Sensor STANDARD measures relative humidity and temperature, and its compact design suits small pipes. The Humidity Sensor PLUS adds permittivity and conductivity measurement for advanced oil condition monitoring and remaining oil life assessment. With these sensors, crews, technical managers and purchasers can support condition-based maintenance, extend oil and component life, and run separators and dryers only when needed
