Flow measurement

Flow measurement is used in a wide variety of areas with a wide variety of media. Liquids or gases can be measured as a medium. There are a variety of measuring methods to measure these flow rates (or consumption). The measuring devices should be selected depending on the area of application and specification of the medium.

A flowmeter consists of two main components, the actual sensor and an evaluation unit, usually referred to as a transmitter or measuring transducer. A distinction is also made between compact devices and separate versions (sensor and evaluation unit).
