Flow measurement

The flow measurement finds its application in the most diverse areas, with the most different media. As a medium, liquids or gases can be measured. There are a variety of measurement methods to measure these flows (or consumption). Depending on the application and specification of the medium, the measuring instruments should be selected.

A flowmeter consists of two main components, the sensor and an evaluation unit, usually referred to a transmitter. In addition, a distinction is made in the versions compact units or remote versions (sensors of the evaluation unit).
